Welcome to St.
Paul East United Methodist Church. Our desire is to minister
to you and your loved ones and to help strengthen your faith.
Please contact us with questions or comments, and join us as
we serve the Lord together.
Our United Methodist Women (UMW) group has a strong presence in the local community and the Holston Conference. On a monthly basis, The United Methodist Women of St Paul East provide FREE Community Meals. View our church calendar to find out the next meal date.

St. Paul serves as an official Angel Food host site. View our church calendar for specific Angel Food dates and details.
Each summer, the St. Paul East Vacation Bible School Program is widely attended by children in the surrounding area. We encourage all youth to become a SPY (St. Paul Youth). In addition to regular meetings, the youth occasionally go out to a nearby place for a hamburger or snack. Sometimes they go to Starbucks for coffee.
Each Fall, St. Paul East hosts the local community at a large Fall Festival, featuring a country market, bake sale, activities for children, great food, and music. Make plans to attend the 2007 Fall Festival on October 12 & 13.

St. Paul East has an active minister who lives in and serves our local neighborhood. Rev. Watkins plays guitar. He and his family regularly perform musical selections during services. Rev. Watkins allocates a portion of Sunday worship for a special message directed toward children and youth in the congregation.
As you may have noticed, the name of the church is St. Paul Methodist. Since there are actually two St. Paul Methodist churches in the Knoxville area, our church is frequently referred to as "St. Paul East" because of our location in the countryside, in the eastern region of Knox County.
St. Paul East members are part of the Southeastern Juristiction of The United Methodist Church. Our groups regularly participate in meetings and spiritual growth events held at Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center in Lake Junaluska, NC.
